No Longer An 'I-Saw'

We had a fabulous night at the Wishing Well at the George's last night.
We were enlisted to help tidy up the outdoor space which had become cluttered up with items no longer needed or used. We also had to dismantle a shed. We then had to load all the items into a transit van ready to take to the tip. I'll be honest, when we first arrived and saw the task, I did wonder whether we'd be able to get it all done in an hour and a half.
However, in true Goodgym style, we all got stuck in. We pulled on our gloves and we cleared wood, pallets, plastic, office chairs, desks, tables and all sorts of other bits and pieces. Alex and Rob did a great job of dismantling the shed and cutting the wood down so that it would fit in the van (which was literally packed to the rafters by the time we'd finished!).
We managed to clear everything and the difference was incredible!! The Wishing Well have plans to turn the outside space into an area that can be utilised by the service users. Their plans can definitely become a reality now!
Such a rewarding and physical task. Perfect for Goodgymer's :)
Thank you Jan and team for having us. We'll see you again soon!!
