GG Woking take on the roof garden at Brockhill care Home
Last night saw GG members go up on to Brockhill Care home's roof garden to help tidy and weed the area. There was a big improvement by the end. With all the leaves bagged and the weeds pulled. As soon as we tidied one area of leaves, one of the residents was out there enjoying the area. It may have not been a great task for the nails with myself breaking a few!! But it was a job worth doing.
It was nice to also get back down the canal and enjoy the run along the path. In total we did just over 5 km at a good fast pace, with James beating his fastest 1km and his 1 mile pace.
Next week
we are just waiting on confirmation from the RSPCA about next week. I will send out a confirmation email asap to let you know.
Allotment
Now the weather is getting nicer and its the season to get plants in, if you have anything you would like to grow then please let us know.
