Nifty Fifty!
4 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in York.
- Saturday, 30th of November 2019
- Led by John Bourton
Four runners filled 50 plastic rubble sacks with gravel removed from the base of a large garden pond which has been drained to protect young children who have moved into the home. The bags will now be transported to help renovate the maze on the York/Selby cycle track which has been the site of a number of previous GG missions. it was a perishingly cold but sunny day and Pete, Debs and Vicky gratefully accepted hot drinks offered by our host , although shovelling and filling bags kept us all warm too.
