New toys and hot stuff
9 GoodGymers made their way to help the South Downs Leisure Charitable trust in Worthing.
- Friday, 16th of July 2021
- Led by JULIA GLEESON
Jay, Catherine, Anne, Barbara, Lucy, Duncan, Graham, Gill, Tamsin, Ros, Stacey and Jemmie went to Worthing Leisure Centre to burn compost and have a summer BBQ. unfortunately some of the group were not able to attend due to social isolation. We missed you!
The evening started with Helen Lawrence the Leisure Centre Operations Manager saying a big thank you to GG Worthing and presenting us with £200 of new gardening tools. Gill seemed to be the most excited by this. We then got to work with clearing the poppies and Graham led on burning the old cuttings that were too large to compost.
Duncan got the BBQ going and everyone had gone Veggie or Vegan until Jay arrived with meat sausages and his new improved laser powered eyesight and flying broomstick straight from hogwarts.
it was so nice to see everyone and catch up. We all welcomed Stacey to the group on her first visit.
