The Rain Stayed Away
It was allotment night - so you know what that means.... rain!! Luckily the rain stayed away and we managed to get into the allotments to help out.
We started off the evening with a gentle jog to everyone's favourite hill. Nick was clearly feeling nice and only made you run up once with just a few squats to keep your legs warm at the top. We then continued on to the Derry's allotment. We have tried to get into the allotments on four occasions this year and every time it has been water logged due to the amount of rain we have had. Luckily after a week of sunshine it has dried out enough which allowed us to get in and help turn over a plot. We had large plot this week so every one did such a good job and got stuck in and managed to complete the task, this will make the plot owner very happy as they had been struggling to keep up and dig it over.
Well Done Helen
A Big Well done to Helen who completed the all Nations 10km race last weekend.
