I phoned M for a catch up and was, unusually, told she couldn’t chat for long as her battery was low and she didn’t have her charger. Turns out that M has been admitted to hospital for some investigations. Which hospital? “Is it East or West....” ?” Fortunately I knew where she meant - definitely West. She was still keen to check I was ok, and I reassured her that she doesn’t need to worry about me and that she was the priority right now. She was very grateful for me calling and we agreed I’d call again in a few days for a progress report. Fingers crossed she’s ok. (Picture of this afternoon’s commute home - M always loves Richmond Park in the autumn)
