The Trees for Cities organised a lovely event with many people from around the neighbourhood showing up to plant the trees! Goodgymmers arrived in their own time spreading out across but eventually finding their way to each other for introductions and then lovely lunch.
The day consisted of digging up holes to put the young trees that hopefully will establish and create a lovely diversity of plants and insects. It was one MUDDY task - there was just no escaping it! After some drizzles the heavens really opened up with heavy rain that thankfully went away fairly quickly and by then no one cared - good fun work whatever the weather!!!
Great to welcome Andy and Sarah to their first GoodGym session - well done!!! The first session is always the hardest to come to but hopefully we'll see more of you in the future:)
