Muddy beginnings!
2 GoodGymers made their way to help the Havant Food Partnership in Portsmouth.
- Saturday, 17th of February 2024
- Led by Judy Knapp
Sinéad and I joined local volunteers and the Community Team from Havant Borough Council at the first session for the new community allotment. The project is supported by funding from South West Trains and is part of a new initiative called Grow It, Cook It, Eat It.
It was far too muddy and wet to dig the plot, but we built mini greenhouses, sowed seeds in trays and set up compost bins.
