Mr T wants some Tongue
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Tuesday, 2nd of June 2020
Mr T says he’s had two GG volunteers before and it’s clear he knew the score! He was very prepared with neat list, cash, rolly shopping trolley, and even showing me the empty jars so I know what they look like.
A weighty and interestingly specific shop that included 2 x four pints of milk, and me having to ask the amused butcher where to find ‘some tongue’. I also walked the cereal aisle for a good 10 mins before googling and discovering that Morrison’s no longer stocks Frosties - who knew! Luckily a corner shop sorted me out.
Navigating the heavy trolley past uphill road works was a fun challenge, but had an appropriate Goodgym welcome from the building’s lift. Waved bye to a happy and grateful Mr T who can now hopefully make some tasteful (geddit?) meals!

Thanks so much Linda for doing this, Tim is very specific as to what he wants, he was a chef for many years.
Nice one Linda! Well done on persevering in finding all the items! :)
