Mow mow, mow mow mow mow, mow mow mow mow, mow mow there's mow limits
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.
- Saturday, 28th of September 2019
It was a repeat visit for me to Ms E, and first time for Laura. Ms E's garden had gotten very overgrown again and it was getting her down.
I weeded the paths while Laura tackled some brambles. Then it was time for the mower to come out. This was Laura's first time using a lawn mower, turns out they don't have grass where she grew up in Canada, who knew! So after a quick lesson on how it works, she got stuck in and transformed the lawn from overgrown mess to neat and tidy garden.
Ms E was incredibly grateful and wouldn't let us go without some big hugs all round. Having spent the morning discussing how reserved us Brits are, it was a lovely way to end the mission!

Congrats on your first time using a lawn mower Laura. I hope it was everything you dreamed it would be! Well done on the mission and I'm glad that Ms E was so thankful!
