Moving Home!
1 GoodGymer made their way to help the Portsmouth Residents and Visitors in Portsmouth.
- Wednesday, 11th of October 2023
- Led by Portsmouth runner
Today, Mel joined other volunteers in Victoria Park moving some plants over from the dedicated beds to fill in the 'gaps' around the Park periphery. We managed to re-house around 25 plants and they'll continue to flower for a while longer before eventually moving again on to the compost pile! We also managed to rescue and re-home lots of worms who we disturbed digging holes for the plants. Not a single worm was harmed during this process! We took a group volunteer photo at the end of the sessions, where you can just about see a flash of Goodgym red. Then it was off to the cafe for a welcome beverage and a lovely chat.
