Mount Pleasant Community Litter Pick
2 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Sheffield.

Through flyering my street and doing some social media outreach, I asked people to join me to help litter pick around Mount Pleasant Mansion.
About eight of us linked up to clear the green space which is affected by a bit of fly tipping and general litter and it's full of secluded corners which means I didn't fancy it alone.
I live just around the corner and have met only 2 of my neighbours so I met another one today which was great.
The community organisation next to the mansion were also there and were starting to clear vegetation and rubbish for some growing projects so good to help out with general rubbish clearing.
Opening up these sorts of green spaces feels really positive as it's an area I feel gets avoided.
Thanks to Sheffield Litter Pickers for lending us pickers and now I'm the proud owner of a sharps box too so keen to keep litter picking and making Mount Pleasant even more pleasant.
One other Goodgymer joined in so that was also fab.
