A fab little group supporting a fab little Brewery! Today we met at the Bridge House, warmed up, unanimously decided we'd much rather be ninjas than pirates (better toilet facilities if you're a ninja, apparently) and headed to local brewery Ignition!
Ignition are an amazing social enterprise who provide training and employment to people with learning difficulties, to brew, serve and deliver some seriously tasty beer.
Our task was to deliver a load of flyers around Sydenham, to spread the word about the delivery side of the business. After picking up a big batch of flyers, we focussed on a few roads around Newlands Park. On our walk back to base, Stephen asked us for our "most memorable mailbox":
🐈 There were a couple of good looking cats hanging out in the windows
📮 Alex ended up with a particularly stubborn letterbox effectively chewing up a flyer...
🌀 And I had a trippy experience not knowing if a flyer had been delivered already or if I was seeing a reflection of the flyers in my hand...
In return for our deliveries, we were provided with a couple of bottles each, which have certainly become shaken up from the run home! 🍾
Fantastic stuff everyone! 🍻
