More than CAPEable of the task at hand
4 GoodGymers made their way to help the CAPE in Ealing.

On a lovely sunny evening, 4 of us met in Acton to help let local residents know that the CAPE charity shop on Churchfield Road was reopening. They were looking forward to welcoming back shoppers and accepting donations again and just needed a bit of help to get the word out!
Armed with the flyers, we split off into twos each with different maps to cover.
Alex and Francesca headed north while myself and Michelle headed south and what could have been thought of as an easy task suddenly materalised into a tough workout! Most houses in the area have steps up to the front door and basement flats too so lots of up and down and lots of steps to cover. It really was an excellent workout!
We met back outside the CAPE shop once we has finished to congratulate each other on a job well done and then departed for dinner. Great work everyone, hopefully lots of shopper and donations going their way.
Find out more about CAPE here, they are an excellent charity in West London providing a range of services to people suffering from a mental illness.
