Monday morning motivation at Catford Salvation Army
1 GoodGymer made their way to help the Salvation Army (Catford) in Lewisham.

A lovely sunny Monday morning was spent helping Michael and Rebecca who run the Salvation Army in Catford. We were creating planters for the front of the building, using old wooden pallets. This involved sawing them into sections, reassembling, screwing the pieces together and hammering and filling them with felt lining to make them ready for planting. Hopefully this new community mission has kick started the planters’ assembly and the front of the building will soon look more colourful with some new flowers and plants!
