Milky Way
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Kingston upon Thames.
- Wednesday, 26th of August 2020
Finally a bit of summer sun came back today, looked like a perfect day to spread some GoodGym cheer :). So Gosia helped today with doing some essential shopping for Mrs and Mr D, both living in Kingston area.
I have arrived on time at Mrs and Mr D's doorstep (unknowingly I have knocked on the back door rather than front door :P) and was warmly welcomed by Mr D. The shopping list was shared earlier so I turned up mainly to collect the cash and bags.
Went to Sainsbury and was able to get everything from the list. I was actually surprised with the weight of everything (I think mainly 4 x 4 pints of milk that contributed to that) though no weight would stop me from bringing some goodness to our community today.
After around 40 mins I was back at Mrs and Mr D's door, left all the groceries to be collected from there with receipts and change in one of the bags. The couple thanked me for the effort and took the bags inside. I can prepare for some soreness in my arms tomorrow, but this small deed felt really good, so totally worth it!

Thx so much Gosia they called to thank GG and are very grateful as they do struggle to carry the shopping 🙏👍😇
Great mission Gosia. Sounds like a great upper body work out!
