Spring was never waiting for us, girl It ran one step ahead so Tracey and I volunteered to help the National Trust with their car parking on the busy Easter Saturday. They gave us hi-viz vests Like a striped pair of pants and we set to our task, a great responsibility with the cars like tender babies in your hands but we managed it, vowing "I will win the worship in their eyes". The staff were very kind and gave us a picnic, so we agreed that I will drink the wine while it is warm but fortunately it turned out to be water. There was cake too, but not iced, so there was no chance of All the sweet green icing flowing down. The weather was fine so Tracey said that she'd "never let you catch me Looking at the sun". We didn't have to turn anyone away, so it was a success! We celebrated by running a parkrun Freedom.
