A short 2.5k run this morning for six to The Nuttery in Smallcombe for Transition Bath to do a variety of tasks.
Some of the group a little jaded this morning but we shan't mention any names. Chloe and Richard made it across from Bristol, so big CHEERS guys!! and of course everyone else who made the effort on this fine Saturday morning.
Nice steady run out to The Nuttery where Virginia was ready with her tools and a brief history of the site. We split it not two groups Mary, Chloe and Sam doing
multiple hill reps
to the cattle troughs with their watering cans giving each tree some much needed water, it's been so dry the ground is solid. Sophie, Richard and Steph got to give the communal seating area a
Goodgym Haircut
or bad as the case maybe. Mary found some little field mice nesting under one or two trees. We made a final joint effort to bag up some composted grass we raked up last year and scattered them around.
Working our little socks off for just over an hour and making sure we had enough time to enjoy some
Jammie Dodgers and Jaffa cakes
before heading back to the leisure centre.
As always it was Fun
