Maidenhead Festival-a-Go-Go
3 GoodGymers made their way to help the Maidenhead Festival in Windsor and Maidenhead.
- Saturday, 23rd of July 2022
- Led by Windsor and Maidenhead runner
Georgeta, Anita and Sheila had an early morning start down at Kidwells Park to help set up the stalls for Maidenhead Festival . We joined forces with other volunteers from the Rotary Club and were paired up. Each pair was put in charge of a row of stalls and were responsible for directing the cars and vans to the correct pitch, helping them off-load their gear and drive the vehicles off-site again as quickly as possible. And woe betide anyone whose gazebo exceeded the confines of their pitch! Some stallholders were well practised in the art, but others were grateful for our help. After a couple of hours, all the stalls were up and ready for a weekend of Festival Fun. Great job, team!
