Well done to all six of our two-legged entrants in to the Golden Trainer competition, and our one four-legged competitor! Everybody ran faster than their predicted time, Val even snagging a new PB in the process! Despite helping retrieve and overly-keen Digby at the start, Dave was our new champion, running just seven seconds faster than his predicted time - well done Dave! The other podium positions went to Wilson who was 17 seconds out, and Maxine with a 32 second difference.
Unfortunately last year's winner, John, was caught up at work so couldn't bring the trophy along for a handover, but luckily Judy had her medal from Roy Castle's Tapathon medal in her pocket, so Dave was able to to celebrate his win with a bit of glam.
We then went on to litter pick all around Kingston Rec, where Judy and Wilson managed to find five socks between them! Nick was certainly our most dedicated pickers today, picking up what seemed like endless amounts of glass that was broken over the paths. I'm sure many dog walkers will be incredibly grateful for his hard work.

Area Activator for GoodGym Portsmouth. I swear like a sailor, burp like a foghorn. Human A - Z of Portsmouth. Ultimately charming.
