Luck of the Irish
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Hackney.
- Monday, 6th of July 2020
I cycled to Mr R's house to pick up his list and cash before heading out to getting his shopping. I arrived at 5 past the arranged hour after a bit of running around the maze that is his estate trying to find his flat - he was waiting at the door for me when I arrived and reassured me I wasn't the first to get lost!
After checking a few items on his list I was all set headed off to Tesco to get his items and was surprised to find no queue waiting for me . I was ticking off items of Mr R's list with ease until I tried to track down 'Irish Meadow' which Mr R assured me I'd easily find in the alcohol aisle. After roping in a couple of staff members to help me track it down I admitted defeat and called Mr R to ask if Tesco's Irish Cream Liqueur would suffice. As luck would have it that was more than satisfactory so I was on my way, mission completely and home, within the hour!
