Living the Cream
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Ealing.
- Saturday, 11th of June 2022
Although I enjoy all my Saturdays, I'm going to rate today even higher than usual, with plenty of walking and jogging in the morning through some exciting and unexpectedly beautiful places.
A perfect Saturday needs to have its 2pm shop for Ms N in the middle and today was no different in that matter. Ms N said she missed my shopping last week because of the jubilee weekend. Today's list was pretty standard with the classics like the 2 bottles of semi-skimmed milk or the eponymous (single) cream. The new additions were: macaroni pasta (which Ms N apparently likes to throw into the curry paste - need to try that!) and the regular wholemeal bread (Ms N used to always ask me for the gluten-free version).
I got almost everything by popping into Sainsbury's, Co-Op and the Indian shop. I didn't manage to find the Bird's-eye veg mix (as usual) or even the frozen broccoli and cauliflower florets. The result was still pretty decent, so I rewarded myself with a visit to a Polish shop and then a café where I wrote this report.
