5 GoodGym runners, 5 local residents and 3 dogs all met up for the Great Salterns litter pick this morning.
Unfortunately, a lot of litter gets left in the car park and over the recreation area so there was lots to pick up.
We found the usual plastic, cans, glass, cigarette butts etc. In one space there were about 6 Coke cans and lots of balled up foil, like someone had eaten their lunch there every day and just dropped the rubbish. 🚮
Obligatory clothes find went to the residents who found a sock. Most interesting rubbish was a piece of car bumper and a trowel with the tip missing. We also found a fly tipped mattress that had been there a long time.. The tree it was in had grown around it.
Good to see everyone today and well done for filling 4 large rubbish sacks.
Find out what other fun and games we have coming up in the next few weeks by viewing the run listings on our website.
