Light relief
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Monday, 11th of May 2020
After a frustrating morning at work, I was really grateful for the chance to get out and do something practical and useful for a neighbour. Ms M who lives just a couple of minutes walk from me had been without working lights in her kitchen and hallway for 10 weeks. She had been cooking in the dark and had the bruises to prove it! Three totally different and unusual light bulbs needed replacing which meant a trip to a hardware store was required. After a successful excursion I returned to Ms M's and fitted the new bulbs. It was lovely to meet Ms M and to be able to help use her kitchen safely. I was also extremely flattered when she asked if I was an electrician - maybe I will consider it as a potential post-lockdown career option!

Amazing Mission Abi - for the record, I think you'd make a great electrician if you fancy the career change
