Let the Sun Shine in ☀️
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Sheffield.

Another week, another overgrown hedge...
I jeffed my way up and down the hills of Sheffield on this lovely sunny afternoon to Mr P's house, slightly caught on the back foot with only 2 hour's notice of mission confirmation.
He told me how he'd had to buy a hedge trimmer and cut back the front hedge as the postman wouldn't come to his door, but now he wanted help in the back garden. I concentrated on one side, where the overgrown hedge was blocking light from the window. I then trimmed back some other bushes so the back gate was again accessible and pulled some weeds, piling them up to be bagged and removed by the council.
Mr P was happy that he would now get more light in and it doesn't feel as intimidating for him to try and maintain now. As I left I asked him if he doesn't get annoyed the the screaming children playing behind his house. He said the advantage of being deaf is he can just turn down his hearing aids! 😄
