My battle with litter continues. At this stage I find it quite therapeutic - tidying things is very satisfying. Removing things that shouldn't be there and serve only to make our environment worse. I do sometimes find myself wondering the type of people that litter. What causes it? Laziness? Carelessness? Distance to the nearest rubbish bin?
Whatever the reason, I am there to make sure my surrounding area is improved, even if it's a small improvement! Today's enemies were were hidden drinks cans behind the telephone cabinets, a rogue cup full of cola and plenty of cigarette butts. No e-cigarettes this time (do these count as electronic waste?).
I also found a rogue glove! A left glove, in fact. Somebody must be feeling very self RIGHTeous!
After clearing both sides of my local street, I had filled an entire plastic bag full. The satisfaction of a cleaner street really made a positive impact on my evening!

Nice one Dharmesh, it is therapeutic. I have a battle stemming the tide of beer cans around the wall opposite my house. Yesterday no beer cans but 6 empty 2ltr water bottles. May be the local drinkers are on the wagon 😂
I think there must be a correlation between the sun shining and the number of beer cans consumed...and therefore thrown on the floor!
