Southwark

Mission

Leave the Dirty Work to Us...part one.

2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Southwark.

Mrs A has had a new washing machine delivered, and so part one of a double header mission this morning was for David and I to move it from the hallway into her kitchen, remove all the packaging and prepare it for an AgeUK handyman to do the installation. GoodGym tag team two would then remove Mrs A's old machine from her kitchen later this afternoon.

Part one of the plan worked spotlessly, with us leaving a sparkling whiter than white new machine on rinse hold in Mrs A's kitchen ready for plumbing in and its first spin to bring extra brightness and that freshly washed laundry smell to Mrs A's clothes.

Mrs A was extremely grateful for our help with completing the pre-wash part of her laundry day and we left wishing her well for the main wash and tumble dry cycles that will hopefully be as successful later today.

Nice work guys! I'm sure Mrs A will enjoy using her new washing machine!
