After a 5K walk to Cadge Rd my first task was a Goodgym favourite, litter picking! Someone had decided to have a beer party around the church entrance but not cleared up!! After Covid cleaning my litter picker I started putting together the box’s which were being delivered to homes today. Each family would get a box dry goods, plus eggs, potatoes, chocolate. Then a bag for the children contains activity packs, 2books, sweets. Over these 6 weeks (12 days) we have delivered to 150 families and 312 families have collected box’s from us. The Foodbank never stops, but the next F.I.S.H will be half term. In these very different times of COVID-19 we hope everyone stays safe and well. If there is another peak and different measures are in place, The Foodbank and its partners will be there to help any person that may need help
