Lamb of my Faaah-thers...
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Friday, 12th of June 2020
At the top of Ms J's list this week were two lamb chops - last week New Zealand's finest fulfilled the requirement, but this week the prize went to one of the home nations with the Welsh making it through to the final basket. My quest to complete a World Cup of lamb chops continues...
This morning's shop felt surprisingly normal - no queue to get in, everyone safely spaced around the aisles, and (apart from flour which seemingly continues to be hoovered up by aspiring Mary Berrys), no real shortage of products - I even found Ms J's favourite wholemeal Hovis. Back at Ms J's we had a brief catch up - she even admitted she'd stepped outside for the first time in over 3 months earlier this week...one small step, one giant leap I hope for her now.
On the bike ride home, I passed Dom running in the opposite direction to his next mission and we exchanged waves - GoodGym twitchers keen to spot one or more of this red shirted rare breed should clearly bring their binoculars to the Gray's Inn Road on a Friday morning!
