Knowing Your Onions

The lovely Mr J prefers his onions red and quite small, this proved trickier than expected with neither ASDA nor Tesco having them; fortunately one of the market stalls had the required size. As usual, we had a couple of conversations about use by dates and a check as to whether he’d forgotten something that is usually on his list - he hadn’t but appreciated the question.
