An awesome evening with Woking GG - taking on over 8km to help out at Brockhill.
Well done every one what an amazing effort from everyone. With Susannah never running further than 5km before, last night she did 8!! GoodGym is a great way to train especialy if you are aiming for a couch to 5km. We have a range of abilities who come along and we never leave anyone behind.
Last night we set off from Woking Leisure Center and headed down the canal for a steady run. Thank you Anne for being the back marker. We arrived at Brockhill Care Home. We have been here many times before and have watched the interior change colour with the thanks of the GG Members. Last night we have two special guest, Willow and Abbie, as part of their DoFE they were getting in some volunteer work and helped out.
After twenty mins of painting and a new fashion of a bin bag apron we were done. We ran back along the canal, the aim was to not stop down the canal and everyone did it. A brisk run through town and back to the leisure center.
Next week
We are heading to Church for a bit more sanding and painting. It's a lovely short run through the woods and is a perfect starter session so if you have any friends who are intrigued, bring them along.

Holly, you are too modest! You did not mention your new Black T-shirt celebrating your 50th run... and the first in Woking! Congratulations!
Well said Anne....👏🏽👏🏽
