Keep lugging up that hill
6 GoodGymers made their way to help their local community in Ealing.

We weren't quite running up that hill but we did cover three miles of up and down with 46 BIG BAGS OF RUBBISH!
Tonight, we were asked by our local litter picking community (LAGER Can) whether we could help move all the litter and recycling they collected on their clearance event in the morning from the canal up to the park to be taken away.
They'd done an amazing job clearing an old abandoned camp and just needed us to provide some muscle and get the bags up to a point they could be collected by the council. Enter GoodGym!
After meeting beforehand to run a few laps of the park, we then worked HARD for over an hour going up and down the hill and after starting off cautiously we were soon feeling pretty grimmy!
"No amount of hand sanitiser can save us now!"
It was an excellent workout and we came away feeling pretty proud of how much we'd shifted and being able to collaborate with others in the local community to clear this lovely green space.
