Just sorting in the rain

Just sorting in the rain, we're sorting in the rain...
It was a glorious feeling seeing 37 young runners leave their warm and cosy houses to come out and do Norwich junior parkrun!
Brad and Fletcher were on token sorting duty, while I marshalled at point 8, which is on the bridge by the boating lake. We all stopped and watched the first runners come by, before Fletcher and Brad headed off to grab the first tokens.
It certainly was a wet one, but everyone enjoyed it! Fletcher counted all the way up to 37 and put the tokens away perfectly, and he got lots of compliments on his raincoat!
It was great to see the all the children and their adults enjoying themselves even though the weather was rubbish. If you'd like to be part of making Norwich junior parkrun happen whatever the weather, drop them an email at norwich-juniorshelpers@parkrun.com.
