We were back helping Jan from the Friends of Turnham Green tonight, clearing and tidying up the rockery on Turnham Green, and planting flowers in the wild flower meadow.
Don’t grow there Andy and I took on the long grass and won, strimming and raking the area beside the meadow.
Let it grow While Lucy, Klara, Emily and Letícia were planting trays of plug plants. It was a barmy night in Chiswick and with many people out walking through the Green there were plenty of people stopping to ask about the meadow and thank us for our efforts.
Been around the rock a few times Meanwhile over at the rockery the mountain of youth as I shall call them from now on; Will, Chris, Remy and Ben were putting their backs into it clearing the rockery of weeds and litter. Alanna and Beth were team logistics ferrying the unwanted weeds over to the other side of the green for collection.
We got plenty done and made the most of the warm temperature 🙌🏻
