Got a call from a friend in Sunninghill who'd had a stroke earlier in the year and still having physio, but asked if I could come and tidy up his small garden beds, since he is not quite able to do all tasks with his balance and co-ordination. Sounds like a GG style mission to me ... off I go.
It wasn't difficult to see that the alliums were finished , dead and wilted leaves needed taking out, weeding out self seeded sycamore shoots around the delicate rose bushes and trim back some ivy. With a clear bed I had geranium pots to put in and put the sprinkler on. Finished off sweeping all the rubbish off this lovely little patio and the front garden and leaving it pristine ready to enjoy.
I so miss GG group tasks and missions in my area, especially the fantastic people
