It's a fair copse
1 GoodGymer made their way to help the Luton Borough Council Parks and Countryside in Luton.

Yet another beautiful sunny morning out with the volunteer team led by Sam from Luton Borough Council. Kidney Wood is undergoing a gentle transformation. As daylight lengthens, bluebells are growing up through the leafy woodland floor, and their young shoots are still very tender and easily damaged by being crushed underfoot. In order to encourage walkers to stay within the woodland trail we utilised some of the overgrown hazel stems to create an edging on each side of the path. Sam will be back at Kidney Wood next week - Friday 10am until 1pm -to focus on another task at the woodland edge.
