13 GG Yorkies took shifts at Millenium Fields to help the team from St Nicks to clear the overgrown wild flower meadow. We set to work scything, raking and moving huge bags of cuttings. The idea is that the wild flowers grow better in a nutrient poor soil, so the cuttings have to be removed before they turn into compost!!
In between the odd spot of rain, we managed to clear a huge section! We left a few patches where the wild flowers were still in bloom.
Tomorrow is the 10th birthday celebration of GoodGym, so we hope to see you all at the group run!!
