I'm thorny, thorny, thorny, thorny
7 GoodGymers made their way to help the Global Gardens Project in Cardiff.

For the last time in 2020 goodgym members met up at Global Gardens, the task at hand to remove some overgrown brambles ready for some new hedgerow to be planted in the new year. Poppy greeted us as always with smiles and tools, with no time to waste on what was a lovely, if somewhat cold morning.
Secateurs, forks and digging hoe, buckets and wheelbarrows for the waste, it was a production line in full swing. We cleared and dug out roots, as barrow after barrow went over to the compost pile, in the process finding a leaf blower in two parts, what seemed like endless carpet and plenty of wood.
We made a nice dent in the brambles, and Darren even tried his hand at flying lessons......
After an hour and a little bit more of fighting with the thorns, it was time to down tools and finish for the morning. We wished each other happy holidays and headed home.
