I-key-A problem solved
2 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Wandsworth.
- Tuesday, 26th of February 2019
On a sunny Tuesday afternoon Ruth and Abi took a break from work to rearrange Mrs D's furniture so that she could come home from hospital after a fall. Mrs D's nephew (75 years old himself!) was there to help us out and tell us all about his aunt and the impressive longevity of all the women in his family. The only problem we encountered was moving an IKEA day bed which needed disassembling to get through the door. Despite finding over 15 different screwdrivers in the lounge, we could not find an Allen key to allow us to take the bed apart. Instead we compromised by moving the bed out of the way into an adjoining room where Mrs D's nephew could take it apart at a later date. A hospital bed can now be delivered tomorrow.
