Hung, drawn and flat packed.
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Islington.

Ms S had asked with some help building a shelf unit and a couple of other storage items, so this morning was flat pack heaven for those who like that sort of thing accompanied by Ms S telling me lots and lots of stories of her past life, which I have to admit was fascinating...never was LP Hartley's quote "the past is a different country, they do things differently there" more apt than when applied to this morning's live podcast by Ms S.
Almost without realising I'd completed building her shelf unit, hooked up her "carousel unit" and, once the story telling had ended, Ms S was able to show me where she wanted the shelf unit placed in her "music room". Just before leaving she asked if I'd mind hanging three small pictures that were in her living room and I was of course happy to oblige.
She seemed delighted by the new look of her room - a combination of old fashioned (art) and modern (furniture)...it dovetailed well with the stories she'd been telling me throughout the morning.
