How cold can you get?
2 GoodGymers made their way to help the parkrun - Woking junior parkrun in Woking.
- Sunday, 5th of December 2021
- Led by James McCloud
By a cold and windy morning… Adam and Anne joined the Woking junior parkrun marshals. 51 children braved this wintery weather to run their 2 kilometres around the park – it was their 150th event.
All our clapping and jumping up and down helped us to keep warm(ish)…. Thank goodness most of the children were fast runners! Needless to say that we ran (not walked) to the town centre for a well-deserved hot drink/breakfast.
Well done to James who took part in the Weybridge 10K and congratulations for his PB!
Congratulations to all the GoodGymers who have started to run towards the “Run Up to Christmas” challenge and thanks to Alys for all the encouragement.
This coming Wednesday we will run to the Food Bank warehouse in Knaphill where we will prepare some Christmas bags (as we did last year). We hope to see many of you!
In the meantime: happy running to everyone.
