Hot of the press .... ups. GoodGym hits the gym.

So, it was a surprise task tonight!

When I went for my meeting with our task master last Friday they refused to have us working outdoors in the cold. The painting had already been brought forward to the last visit and in the spirit of the festive season they were keen to give us something back.

Saying no wasnt an option so we settled on the fact that we would experience one of their circuit sessions in return for some constructive feedback on how it went... GoodGym guinea pigs if you will!

And wow, what a great night and great fun we all had. Hard work and how we will feel in the morning I am not sure but once again, no holding back on effort.

Our run there was a leisurely 2.5k through town, Sam led the way and Leigh and Jenny brought up the tail. Traditional GG regroups made sure no one got left behind and copious traffic lights and other road crossings did the rest.

We were met at the Peepul Centre by gym manager Dave who had set out a very simple but highly effective circuit session for us. I was personally impressed by how quickly he explained everything and got us underway. A full minute on each station for the the first circuit of 10 , 2 minutes rest then off again for another 45 seconds on each.... rest.... then another 30 seconds.

Husband and wife pairing Ged and Jenny shared a station all the way round and captivated us all with some excellent syncronised circuitry!

After a quick round of applause, for ourselves and our instructor, and the obligatory group photo it was back on the road for the trip back to town. My goodness it felt chilly out there after being in that hot studio but we soon forgot about that.

Not sure what all the verbal abuse was around the clock tower? I swear someone was trying to sell me a skateboard.. ... what ever!!!
