Last week I met my lovely new HLS customer, Ms L, for the first time.
Being stuck in her first floor flat for the duration of COVID, Ms L was delighted at the prospect of a home library service regularly bringing books and a chat. It turned out Ms L used to enjoy the mobile library and was gutted when this ended a number of years ago. There we plenty of questions on the logistics front, so I will have to have a read for next time!
As we chatted and I got a feel for Ms L's taste in books, she shared pictures of her late cat, introduced me to a very lifelike toy cat that now keeps her company, and gave a great sales pitch to a local glasses company who had recently kitted her out with a much needed new pair of specs.
No new books on this drop and only one to return, but hopefully I am able to choose a varied selection of books for Ms L to enjoy next time! Will be lovely to pop by again soon!
