Home Library
1 GoodGymer made their way to help their local community in Oxford.

The Oxfordshire Home Library Service is a partnership with Age UK to get books to people who are unable to visit the library themselves through frailty, infirmity or a disability.
I’ve been DBS checked (again), library trained, and assigned 2 ladies who can no longer make it to the library. Today I made my first delivery of library books to both ladies, had a little chat at the doorstep, and arranged my next book delivery in roughly 3 weeks time.
I’m looking forward to learning their reading likes and dislikes and hopefully getting better at picking out reading material they will enjoy as we get better acquainted.
