Holy Cheesus those hills
1 GoodGymer made their way to help an isolated older person in Camden.
- Thursday, 30th of April 2020
This was a lovely mission to help the wonderful Mr T with getting things from the shops he really wants. He said that compared to council food boxes he really appreciates GoodGym helping him get the food he wants and is used to rather than generic tins which he doesn't like. After a hard run there via the hills of Highgate, the cemetery and loads of churches, I was back to Chalk Farm Morrisons. This time for a large quantity of blue Saint Agur cheese. As always they had everything I needed for Mr A. I dropped everything off and had a lovely chat with him about everything from the first woman in space, his youth eating sandwiches in Highgate Cemetery and Captain Tom. I really felt that he appreciated the help he has been receiving from GoodGym volunteers.
