Hitting the sack
10 GoodGymers made their way to help the St Werburgh's Park Nursery School in Bristol.

After being started in December then delayed last week due to the weather, it was finally time to finish shifting sand for St Werburgh's Nursery to create a safer, bigger sandpit for the children. The group arrived so promptly that Sian and I thought we were the only people who had come for 10 minutes round the wrong side of the building! We soon caught up and the group worked in record time on shovelling, wheelbarrowing and Mel on Raking Project Manager duty. We had quite the quality-engineering crafted ramps up and down into the sandpit to heave the sand in, but it became competitive to get the best wheelbarrows for the job as they ranged from 'top' of the range to wheel-less.
In just half an hour, we had shifted the remaining three half-bags of sand. Will, Russ and Liam tried out their sack race skills and it was time to run our separate ways.
