Hill Sprint Training
5 GoodGymers made their way 4.0km to help their local community in Brent.
- Monday, 7th of March 2022
- Led by Liz
Liz was joined by four other runners for some fitness fun! Pritesh promised the group that Liz would work them hard, so she aimed to deliver. Hill sprints were on the agenda! Is it because Liz is mean? No, she wants to help you improve your fitness and running times.
We began with a short warm up. We then set-off to find a hill. Liz explained the theory behind hill sprints. The aim was to attack the hill, walk down to recover, then repeat!
After the first two sprints, Liz shared some tips. Stay upright and use your arms to drive you forward. The group completed a further 3 sprints.
Exercise session over? No way! We then went for a 4km run. We finished our session with some cool down stretches and a beverage.
Well done team!
