HIIT makes the heart beat faster
6 GoodGymers made their way 3.8km to help their local community in Brent.

On Valentine's night six of us met at papagayo in Willsesden and welcomed two new goodgymers to Brent: hello Sam and Roberto ! We introduced ourselves and Liz kept us warm with some warm up exercises.
We did not have a task but were still keen to move, so Liz led us on a four kilometre run passing local landmarks of Roundwoork Park, King Edward's park and the Lexi cinema.
Once we were back to the start point we had a round Robin of HIIT with one exercise from each of us which included a variety ranging from Squat Punches and Starjumps to Crab Walks. It was a great session and we were quickly tired out, so we completed a series of cool down stretches and headed to Papagayo for a well deserved drink and a chat.
Looking forward to meeting again next week, hopefully to combine a good deed with our fitness.
