Help at the b-ready
4 GoodGymers made their way to help the City Harvest in Ealing.

On a sunny Saturday 4 GoodGym runners met (completely coincidently!) at City Harvest to help sort and save surplus food!
Anita was just finishing up her morning shift as myself and Kathryn arrived to take on the afternoon. Marieke was doing one of her epic all day stints again. Major kudos all around!
Our first job on the afternoon slot was to peel hundreds of cabbages. The top layers needed to be removed to show the cabbages full potential concealed beneath, nothing wrong with those cabbages at all once we peeled back the outer layers!
"Not the most apPEALing task!"
Then is was a case of doing a few jobs around the site until the bigger deliveries arrived. Lots of sweeping and crate sorting was done before a huge delivery (consisting of mostly bread!) turned up towards the end of our time.
Excellent team work all round!
