Heigh hoe, Heigh hoe, it's off to weed we go!

3 GoodGymers made their way to help an isolated older person in Bristol.

Mr L works hard on maintaining his beautiful garden, and has been doing an amazing job at it for over fifty years! But in his old age, he has not been able to go outside to work on it for the past five weeks, leaving it to fall into some disarray and have some weeds start to invade.

To help set things straight, GoodGym runners Clo, Alex and Emily, who was on her first ever mission run, set about clearing up weeds and sorting out items which had been blown over in the wind.

Mr L was very happy to engage with us. He showed us his impressive set of gardening tools, including teaching Clo how to use a hoe, and explaining to us the various beans, berries and trees growing in his garden.

Satisfied with our work, Mr L offered us cups of tea and ginger biscuits before we went away.
